South Island connectivity has been a little sketchy so far, especially since we’ve been doing some sleeping in the car, but we’re in Queenstown today, (FOR MY BIRTHDAY!) and we have unlimited internet. Hurrah!
We spent several hours after going jet boating today with Skipper’s Jet on Skipper’s Canyon catching up on our photo albums. We’ve covered our ferry ride, Abel Tasman Park, our week on the farm and our visit to Farewell Spit so far. Coming soon will be our visit to Punakaiki or Pancake Rocks, the West Coast glaciers, horse trekking in Wanaka, our day of skiing yesterday and jet boating.

Happy birthday Lara. I imagine it’ll go down in history as one of your best one’s yet. I am working all weekend but would really love to chat soon. FYI: I will be around Oct 3rd between 4 and 7pm, Oct 5 after 3pm, oct 6 after 2pm. I hope one of those upcoming dates/times work. If not, will keep trying. my schedule is crazy these days between work, internship, mom and home nursing duties (chad had another surgery. turns out he tore his ACL in that accident too) Aaargh!! I am sure you had a super day, and what better way to spend it and in such a beautiful country!
We are set to take a cruise at the end of the month, going to see some of mainland Italy, Barcelona, Africa, Tunisia, and an island off of Barcelona that I can’t remember the name of at the moment…we are so excited and can’t wait for our adventure! You two are certainly having a GREAT adventure. Where are you off to next?
